Jeopardy Tournament at Yale University

On Saturday December 14, 2019 the CCACC Education Committee sponsored a statewide Jeopardy tournament at Yale University.

The event was led by Team Coach Dr. Samit Shah. Ten FIT’s representing the four Connecticut programs (Attila Feher, Natalija Odanovic, Srinivas Nadadur, Katherine Clark, Jamal Janjua, Samuel Reinhardt, Fatima Khan, Sonal Pruthi, Yanting Wang, and Patrick Gotimer) participated vying for the distinguished privilege of representing the Connecticut Chapter at the ACC National Conference in Chicago in March.

Dr. Brian Malm, Dr. Katharine Clapham, and Dr. David Hur graciously volunteered their time to judge and select the contestants. It was a lively, competitive, and enjoyable event that the Connecticut Chapter plans to sponsor yearly.

The CCACC gifted each participant with a $50 gift card and everyone enjoyed a variety of delicious refreshments. The FIT’s selected to represent Connecticut are: Attila Feher, Sonal Pruthi, Natilija Odanovic, and alternate Fatima Khan. They will each be presented with a $1000 stipend to offset travel expenses.

Congratulations to the four winners and thank you to all who made this event a success! Renee Rix CCACC Associate Directo
