On August 21, 2019. the Connecticut-ACC WIC chapter held its first meeting of the academic year. This meeting brought together female cardiovascular attending physicians and fellows in training from around the state.
The purpose of the Connecticut Chapter of the American College of Cardiology is to promote high standards in the practice of cardiovascular medicine/surgery in the state of Connecticut and maximize the quality of care for individuals in Connecticut with cardiovascular disease. We aim to do this through education of our patients, lawmakers and our membership and through advocacy on both the state and federal level.
