Dr. Brian Malm is a clinical cardiologist and Director of Cardiology Clinics at the VA CT Healthcare System. He is also an Associate Professor of Medicine at Yale and an echocardiography attending at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He received his medical degree at SUNY-Buffalo, completed internship and internal medicine residency training at NY-Presbyterian Hospital/Cornell and cardiology fellowship training at Yale. He is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular medicine, adult comprehensive echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology.  In addition to his clinical and administrative roles, he serves as a site investigator on multi-center clinical trials in heart failure and preventive cardiology.  He has been involved with the CT ACC chapter since 2015 serving as co-chair of the education committee from 2020-2023 and currently serves on the ACC Board of Governors.  He began his term as CT ACC Chapter president on April 26th 2023 and looks forward to promoting education and advocating on behalf of cardiovascular practitioners throughout the state.
