The CCACC 2026 Annual Meeting showcased a highly successful and academically robust abstract program, reflecting strong engagement across the cardiology community. This year, we received over 70 abstract submissions, highlighting the depth and diversity of clinical and research efforts throughout Connecticut.

From this competitive pool, the top 20 abstracts were selected for poster presentation, providing trainees with an important platform to share their work and engage in scholarly discussion. In addition, the top five original research abstracts were chosen for oral presentation, representing the highest caliber of scientific contribution and innovation presented at the meeting.

The abstract sessions were a key highlight of the program, emphasizing both scientific rigor and educational value. Importantly, the event achieved broad participation, with representation from all cardiology fellowship programs across Connecticut. This inclusive engagement underscores the strength of collaboration and commitment to advancing cardiovascular care and education within the state.
