SUMMARY:Call for Abstracts & Poster Submission Guidelines - Deadline Extended to Feb. 25th
DESCRIPTION:Trainees (residents\, fellows\, and trainees in postgraduate nursing or physician assistant programs) from all programs in Connecticut are invited to submit an abstract for the poster session at the 2026 Connecticut Chapter of the American College of Cardiology annual meeting\, which will be held on 4/29/26\, at the Waterview in Monroe\, CT. Abstracts may be submitted in one of two categories: original research (basic\, translational\, or clinical) or case vignettes. Accepted abstracts will be presented as a poster or oral presentation. \nSubmission Guidelines: \n\nThe first (presenting) author MUST be a fellow or resident in a Connecticut-based training program (trainees from any specialty or subspecialty may submit) or a trainee in a Connecticut-based postgraduate nursing or physician assistant program\nOnly ONE abstract per category may be submitted by a presenting author\nBecause this is a regional meeting\, abstracts submitted for national meetings (e.g.\, ACC\, AHA\, HRS) may be submitted to this meeting and abstracts submitted and not accepted at CCACC 2024 may be submitted again\nPlease submit abstracts as a PDF file\nPlease use Arial font (11-12 pt) and 1-inch margins on the top\, bottom and sides of the abstract\nThere is a ONE-PAGE limit for the abstract\nThe first line of the abstract should contain the title of the abstract in all capital letters\nThe second line of the abstract should include the names and highest degrees for all authors with superscript numbers indicating hospital/program affiliations\nThe first listed author MUST be the presenting author\nThe third line of the abstract should list the affiliations indicated by the superscripts\nThe fourth line should indicate the category for the abstract: “Original research” or “Case vignettes”\nThe body of the abstract begins on the next line\nFigures and/or tables may be included but the entire submission must not extend beyond one page\nThere must be no protected health information (PHI) present in the abstract (or the subsequent poster)\n\n  \nPlease submit your abstract to oxford abstracts using the link below:\nhttps://app.oxfordabstracts.com/stages/80791/submitter \n  \nIf you have any issues submitting through the above link please email:  stephanie.saucier@hhchealth.org\n(Stephanie Saucier MD) \n  \n\nPlease include in the subject line of the email: “CCACC Abstract submission”\nAuthors will be notified if their abstract has been accepted for presentation in mid-March 2026\nFailure to follow the guidelines above will result in abstract disqualification\n The deadline for abstract submission has been extended to\, February 25\, 2026 at 9:00 PM \nAbstracts not submitted to the online platform will not be considered\n\n  \nQuestions may be addressed to Stephanie Saucier\, MD  stephanie.saucier@hhchealth.org
