Dear Industry Representative:
The Connecticut Chapter of the American College of Cardiology (CCACC) invites you to become a corporate member.
The CCACC is a not-for-profit association dedicated to promoting high standards in the practice of cardiovascular medicine and surgery in the state of Connecticut, and to maximizing the quality of care for individuals in Connecticut with cardiovascular disease. We have 276 members, more than 91% of eligible ACC members in Connecticut. The CCACC was recently acknowledged by the American College of Cardiology with its “2007 Chapter Recognition Award” for meeting
ACC goals for chapter membership, communications, quality initiatives, advocacy and management.
As a corporate member, you will have the opportunity to network with CCACC cardiologists at our annual meeting on May 28, 2008. Dr. David Cannom, Director of Cardiology at Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles, CA, has agreed to be our keynote speaker at this event. Dr.
Cannom is an expert on the treatment of ventricular arrhythmias and the past president of the North American Society for Pacing & Electrophysiology (NASPE).
We also have an electronic newsletter which is distributed to our members on a quarterly basis. We are pleased to offer you logo recognition in our newsletter and on our website, www.ccacc.org, along with a link from our website to yours. As you know, Connecticut is fortunate to have high quality cardiovascular care and some of the most esteemed cardiologists in the profession. Through the CCACC, our members work to advance the practice of cardiovascular medicine and surgery within the state through such activities as our annual scientific meeting, legislative advocacy and participation in national ACC initiatives, such as the “Door 2 Balloon” quality initiative.
On behalf of the CCACC, I hope you will partner with us in these endeavors by becoming a corporate member. An application is enclosed. For your accounting purposes our Federal Tax ID # is 06-1390571.
Sincerely,
Mark H. Schoenfeld, M.D.
