Dr. Krumholz is Director of the Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholars Program and the Yale-New Haven Hospital Center for Outcomes Research and Evaluation (CORE). His research is focused on determining optimal clinical strategies and identifying opportunities for improvement in the prevention, treatment and outcome of patients with or at risk for cardiovascular disease. Dr. Krumholz is a member of the Association of American Physicians, the American Society for Clinical Investigation, and the Institute of Medicine. He is also the author of the book, The Expert Guide to Beating Heart Disease.
